Operators

There are a number of automation units or "Operators" that are provided by ECS Gates & Security Limited from our network of worldwide manufacturers, these include:

RAM
ARTICULATED
SLIDING

What is an 'operator'?
The operator is the motorised element that controls the movement of the gate. The operators controls the opening and closing of the gate and is regulated with pressure adjustments carried out during the initial installation by our factory trained engineers to suit each particular installation.

Different operators lock open or closed. They can lock in both positions or be non-locking in both positions and can be visible above ground (Ram, Articulated & Sliding) or concealed (Underground)

All operators are installed with manual overrides as standard and come with upto 3 Years Warranty (Subject to product).

Your choice of operator depends on the following:

The direction of opening
The degree of travel the gates are open or closing
The weight of gate
Wind resistance
